Amidst various other skin conditions, it is acne that stands to be the most common. This skin problem affects people irrespective of their age groups. There are many factors that would be in charge of that nasty pimple on your face. One of the most prominent causes of acne is the unnatural losing of skin cells. If the flaking is excessive, it may lead to the formation of a plug. This plug can lead to the enlargement of the follicle. In some cases, the follicle may even rupture. On rupturing, the follicle releases waste and sebum into the skin pores. This could eventually lead to swelling and swelling. Common skin bacteria which thrive on the skin surface can also cause acne. There is a particular acne causing micro-organism which lives on the skin surface known as propionibacterium acnes. These bacteria in turn produce substances which can irritate the skin or cause inflammation. they are also known to create enzymes which react with the sebum or the oil manufacturing oil glands by dissolving them into skin irritants. They make any inflammation much worse. Hormonal Problems may also cause acne outbreaks. Particularly the androgen hormones have been identified as a main cause behind acne. Though these hormones are there in both males and females, they're essentially found in men. They widen the size of sebaceous glands and also make them secrete large amounts of sebum. The rise in sebum levels leads to creation of plugs which provide ready nutrition to bacteria. These hormones are principally active in teenagers and also cause the expansion of armpit and pubic hair. They are the real cause behind teenage acne. The female hormone estrogen however is more likely to improve acne conditions in lady. A once a month menstrual cycle is set by the varied changing phases of the hormone level in the body. Any acne breakout will also follow these changes getting better or bad as the cycle wears on. Most consultants endorse an anti acne treatment along with birth control pills as a strategy of combating the disease while preserving the beneficial estrogen hormones. Hereditary might be also responsible for triggering an acne breakout. If any of your oldsters have dealt with acne, then chances are that you too may suffer from the problem. However, there is not any logical reasoning of acne being caused as a result of genetic factors. However, there are some substances which have been acknowledged as acne triggers but usually do nothing to cause the condition or worsen it. Other reasons that may instigate acne outbreaks include stress, diet and vitamin inadequacy.
